Lease negotiation

1. Challenge(s)

A Geneva based services group rents a building it no longer occupies. However, the commercial lease still runs for many years. This results in significant costs without compensation nor use.

2. Solutions

Following a RFP, Costbrokers started the building rental promotion commercialisation with three large real estate agencies, made the full lease analysis and started negotiations with the landlord. The different alternative scenarios were considered with their pros and cons.

3. Achievements

In a few months, intensive commercialisation of the building with business case for every serious prospect
Savings of more than 1 million CHF with a successful speed negotiation with the landlord.
